This application is for merging JPEGs.

Let's say you have assorted directories full of JPEGs, but they have similar or overlapping names.
This applications will merge all the originals into a new directory, each of the JPEGs being
re-numbered.

!PegMerge copies the JPEGs, so your originals are untouched (depending on the configuration: see below).

Run the app, then drag out the destination directory (or, if you have one already, drag it in!).
Then successively drag your input directories to the app window (or individual JPEGs one by one).
Each will be copied (or moved - see below) into the destination directory and renamed as they go.

You can control the renaming process by opening the config window (click the menu icon at top right).
Click on "Copy" to change it to "Move", and set the renaming conventions with the other buttons.
Once happy with the configuration, click "Save".

That's it!

The Peggy applications are named after the charming girl whose picture appears at the top of this page.
I've never met her, I just found her picture when I typed in 'Peggy' into Google's image search.
I'm sure she must live in the US somewhere. Alternatively, the Peggy programmes are named after the PEG in JPEG.
Take your pick.
