Digital Scouting

Traditionally we have taken reconnaissance pictures on film and printed them. Increasingly there has been a call for so-called "digital scouting" - where the photographs are either shot on a digital camera, or scanned from prints and uploaded for viewing at our web site.

One advantage of this is that lots of interested parties can access the same pictures, wherever they are in the world. Recently we arranged a conference call with the Photographer in South Africa, his Agent in Boston, the Agency in New York, and the Client in London - all were looking at the same reference pictures on a private web page. Another advantage is that the web page is only showing thumb-nails - you need only download those images that you consider relevant (this can be quicker than email!).
